Privacy and support

This policy covers the Kind Tab Chrome extension and tab.fluffy.care, a project of the Fluffy Care charitable foundation. Contact: tab@fluffy.care.

The extension keeps settings, notes, bookmarks and your choice about website redirection on your device. These data support the tools you use; they are not uploaded to the project or sold. There is no account or cloud sync. The extension does not read browsing history or other tabs, request location, or include analytics or advertising software.

When you submit a search, Chrome sends your query to the search provider you selected in Chrome. Bookmark icons load from the websites you add, without sending a referrer. Those sites receive normal connection data, such as your IP address. On tab.fluffy.care, an added bookmark may also request the page title and preview directly from that website if it permits browser access. We do not send your bookmark list to a third-party preview service.

Only after you agree does the extension start opening tab.fluffy.care in new tabs. The first visit sends a source marker and a one-time activation code to enable the selected starting view. It does not send your notes or search queries. The website stores its own preferences and notes separately. On the website, searches are sent to the search engine selected there; ad servers and partner task pages process requests under their own policies. Partner links identify the project and may earn it rewards.

The website uses Yandex Metrica for click maps, interface choices and technical errors. Metrica receives visit and device data and may use cookies. We do not send note contents, bookmark addresses or search query text to Metrica, and session recording is disabled. This analytics does not run inside the extension or on this policy page.

Use of data handled by the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. These data are used only for the functions you choose, never sold or used for personalized advertising.

Local data stay until you remove them. You can edit or delete bookmarks and notes in the interface; to remove all stored data, including note recovery copies, clear this website’s data in your browser or remove the extension. Website data and extension data are separate. Export notes you want to keep before clearing data. New-tab redirection can be disabled through the extension menu.

For support or a privacy request, email tab@fluffy.care. If you write to us, Jino handles the email delivery and mailbox; we use your address and message to respond and resolve the request. Correspondence remains in the support mailbox until deleted, including at your request. We do not use support messages for advertising. This page is updated when the product’s data handling changes.
